Our beloved mother, grandmother and dear friend Pauline Pedulla Rawhouser was born January 28 1926 on the family ranch. She was the third child to Carmelo and Cynthia Phillips Pedulla. She peacefully went to her eternal reward on November 18th 2009 at the Weston County Health Services. She bravely battled her blindness and other diseases for several years with the same diligence that she led her life. Quit was not a word she ever knew or used. Her health issues never hindered her walk of life but, rather gave her a greater desire to live her life to the fullest measure. Mother lived her whole life in Weston County. On April 5th 1950 she married Richard Rawhouser in Sundance. They ranched together at Four Corners and Osage for 53 years. Pauline's greatest love was her children and grandchildren whom she adored. Not one to turn down a chance to hunt, her eye sight in later years made one of her greatest joys difficult but quit was not something she would do so she continued to ride along and look for the big one.
She was preceded in death by her son David, her parents Carmello and Cynthia, her sister Mary and her husband Richard.
Those left to cherish her fond memories are her son Frank, her daughter Shirley Sam Redding Ft Smith Montana, her brothers Jim, Frank, and Victor, of Newcastle, her grandchildren, Skeeter of Hardin, Seth Stacee of Ft. Smith Montana her most sacred possession was her great granddaughters Justice and Sailee Pauline. Mom had so many caring and loving friends the paper is not long enough to mention them all. You know who you are and we appreciate all that you have done for her.
A memorial to celebrate her life will be held on November 21st at 10:00 am at the Newcastle Senior Center. A reception to follow at the senior center. Burial will be a private ceremony at a later date.
Should friends desire memorial contributions may be made to the Country Church at Four Corners.
