Paulette Murphy

Paulette Murphy, 65, of Dryden, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, May 6, 2012 surrounded by her family. She was born January 6, 1947 in Detroit, Michigan, a daughter of Paul E. and Lina M. nee Casale James. Paulette was united in marriage to William R. Murphy on January 6, 1968. They made their home in Dryden for over 25 years. She retired in 2002 from Utica Community Schools were she worked as a secretary for 17 years. She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, William; daughters, Michelle M. Gary VanWambeke and Lisa R. Matthew Stocke; grandchildren, Kaitlin, Garrett, Hannah and Alexander; and siblings, Marlina Peter Bolone, Marietta Kenward, Annette Steve Curtis and Marguerite M. James. A funeral service will be conducted 11 am Thursday May 10, 2012 at William Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 8459 Hall Road, Utica, followed by interment at Guardian Angel Cemetery in Rochester. Visitation is Wednesday 2-9 pm and Thursday from 10 am until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Equest Center for Therapeutic Riding at www.equestcenter.org.
