Passed away peacefully at his residence in Deckerville. Beloved Husband of Joan P. Loving father of Paul L. Karen, Daryl, Cheryl Ricky Lee, Phillip Lisa, Mary Anne Rob Holland, Chris, Beth Mike Mischle, Laura, Mark Raina and Valerie Donnie Thomas. Proud grandfather of 49 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Son of the late Louis Susy Porter. Dear brother of Joanna George Cox and the late Ted. Mr. Porter was an avid inventor and loved to tinker. He worked as a designer for Chrysler and retired in 1998 after 10 years with the company. He loved his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He also loved to stay very active. Visitation Friday 3:00 - 8:00 pm at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W. 11 Mile Rd. 4 blks. E of Woodward. Rosary service Friday 7:00 pm. Instate Saturday 10:30 am until time of Mass 11:00 am at St. Justin Catholic Church, Hazel Park.
