Paul A. Jaeger, age 60, passed away at home on April 24, 2009 from heart failure. He was a 1967 graduate of Dondero High School, Eastern Michigan University and Detroit Business Institute. He was a life-long resident of Royal Oak. He is survived by his wife, Ellen E. Gardner Jaeger; son, Matt Carmen Jaeger of Rochester Hills; mother, Alice Jaeger of Royal Oak; sisters, Barbara Dick Schillinger of Howell, Karen Len Akers of Thousand Oaks, CA and Christine Randy Ross of Burnsville, MN; and many nieces and nephews. Paul was a successful contract systems analyst until developing Multiple Sclerosis in 1993. He enjoyed watching sports, playing euchre, taking pictures and life in general. He was a happy, funny, devoted husband, father, son and brother. He was extremely proud of his son Matt. Visitation will be Sunday 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., Monday 7-9 p.m. at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W 11 Mile Rd. 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak. The service will be Tuesday 1 p.m. at the funeral home. The burial will take place at Christian Memorial Cultural Center in Rochester Hills.
