Patsy Williams

Patsy Pat Lee Williams, age 84, passed away peacefully February 16, 2013. She was born on February 16, 1929 to Archie E. Williams and Alice Young Williams in Freewater, Oregon. Patsy was raised in Seattle, Washington before moving to Michigan, where she lived in Birmingham. In 1977 she moved to Cheboygan, Michigan, where she lived until moving back downstate in 2010. Patsy enjoyed gardening and bird watching. While living in Cheboygan she was involved in the Garden Club and the Women's Hospital Auxiliary. She enjoyed travelling, especially her annual visits to Maui. Patsy enjoyed music and dancing and spending time with her friends. She especially loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Patsy is survived by her daughters, Cathie Tom Sherwood and Nancy Larry Morelli; seven grandchildren, Scott, Jillian, Stephen, Renee, Matt, Liesl and Sam; four great-grandchildren, Collin, Noah, Riley and Hadley; sister-in-law, Margaret Williams; and her many dear friends at American House. She was preceded in death by her sister Doris and brother Archie. A memorial visitation will be held Sunday, March 3, 2013 from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 1 p.m. at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W 11 Mile Rd., Royal Oak, MI. Memorial contributions may be made to the Boys & Girls Clubs of South Oakland County or the Michigan Humane Society.
