Patricia ‘Pat’ Phillips, 81, of Newcastle, Wyoming, passed away June 11, 2023, at Weston County Health Services, after a long, courageous battle with cancer.
Pat was born April 10, 1942, in Newcastle, Wyoming to Arthur and Pearl Comstock. When she was 7 years old, she moved with her parents and two sisters, Linda and Barbie to Portland, Oregon. A few years after moving, she gained her youngest sister, Sherri. Pat graduated from Roosevelt High School in Portland in 1960.After graduation, Pat met Ron, the love of her life and the two were married December 22, 1962. To this union, two children were born, Shelly and Ron Jr. Pat and Ron raised their children in Oregon and eventually ventured back to Newcastle in 1982, and this is where they spent the rest of their days.
Pat enjoyed watching the Game Show Network and Walker Texas Ranger, she was a lover of Elvis, and she enjoyed camping and spending time at her sister Barbie’s home. She had different jobs over the years, but her favorite title that she earned was Grandma. Pat’s two grandchildren and six great grandchildren were the light of her life. She enjoyed watching them grow up and cherished the time she had with them. They were her whole world.
Pat is lovingly survived by her son Ron Phillips, grandson Jason (Ashley) Diaz, granddaughter Jessica Phillips, great-grandchildren Ryker, Roman, Caleb, Aydenn, Shyla and Rylnn, sisters Linda (Charlie) Miller, Barbie (Chuck) Eastlick, and Sherri Comstock, nieces and nephews and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Ron, parents Arthur and Pearl, daughter Shelly and infant granddaughter Cassandra.
Memorial services are being planned but a date has been undecided at this time. Condolences may be sent to 158 Springfield Ave., Newcastle, Wyoming, 82701.
