She was born in Toledo, Ohio on May 22, 1958, to Charles and the late Mary Sommerfield. She worked as a registered nurse in Toledo and Sterling Heights until illness forced her retirement. She is survived by her husband, Larry; children, Amanda and Timothy; sisters, Pam and Sally, and many friends. A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2006; at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Toledo, Ohio. The family requests contibutions to the Michigan Lupus Foundation or to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Building Fund.
