Patricia Eaves

Patricia Ann "Pat" Eaves nee Korneffel, age 81, a resident of Troy, formerly a 48-year resident of Royal Oak, died January 25, 2010 at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. She was born June 9, 1928 in Detroit. Mrs. Eaves was a 1946 graduate of Lincoln High School in Ferndale, a 1948 graduate of Stephens College for Women in Columbia, MO, and a 1975 graduate of Oakland University in Rochester. She married Beecher C. "Bob" Eaves on February 9, 1949 in Pleasant Ridge. Mrs. Eaves was a former PTA president of Northwood Elementary School, Clara Barton School and Dondero High School. She was also a Girl Scout Leader for 10 years. She was a past president of the Royal Oak Woman's Club. She was a member of the Royal Oak Historical Society, Red Hat Society, Red Run Golf and Country Club and the Starr Commonwealth Auxiliary. Mrs. Eaves is survived by her husband, Bob Eaves; children, Pam Mike Koziel of Raleigh, NC and Robert Maria Eaves of Casco, MI; and grandchildren, Elizabeth Jones, Christian Eaves and Allison Koziel. The visitation will be held Thursday 2-8 p.m. at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak. Mrs. Eaves will lie in state Friday 10 a.m. until the time of service 11 a.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 814 N. Campbell, Royal Oak, with the Rev. Matthew Lash officiating.
