Norman Warren

Norman Frank Warren, age 88, passed on May 26, 2014 in Ridgeland, Mississippi. He was a native of Royal Oak, Michigan and has been a resident of the Jackson Metro area since 1976. He was a graduate of Wayne State University and obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in engineering. He served during WWII in the Army Air Corps and retired from Vickers Aerospace Division as an engineer/manager. He was a parishioner at St. Columb's Episcopal Church. Mr. Warren is the son of the late Henry George Warren and the late Gertrude Pickett Warren. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Amanda Warren Irby; sister, Daisy Roberts; and brother, George Warren. Mr. Warren is survived by his beloved wife of 68 years, Joyce Beverly Warren. He was the devoted father of Kim Venus and Gay Warren; proud grandfather of Lalena Freeborn, Andrew Warren, Alexia Brewer, Benjamin Sara Irby, Matthew Irby, Sara Jane Irby and Joshua Irby; great grandfather of Ashley, Amber and Alicia; and brother-in-law of Gloria Warren and Allene St. Peter. He also is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service was held at St. Columb's Episcopal Church in Ridgeland, Mississippi. Interment will be in Oakview Cemetery in Royal Oak, Michigan.
