Norman Ellis

ELLIS, Norman Clell. age 82. died Thursday, May 1, 2008 in Shelby Twp., Michigan. He was born on April 24, 1926 in Crab Orchard, Tennessee. He married Elizabeth Marie Gervasi on April 23, 1949 in Scranton, Pennsylvania. He serviced in the U.S. Navy from June 30, 1944 to February 22, 1946. They moved to Michigan in 1949. He was employed as a wood model maker and later retired from General Motors, Inc. 1985. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Elizabeth Marie nee Gervasi; children: Robert P. Christine Ellis, William J. Lois Ellis, Ronald L. Ellis, Norman L. Ellis, Patricia A. Terrence L. Belton, James A. Ellis, Kenneth M. Nancy Ellis, and the late Kevin A. Ellis. Proud grandfather of 17 Scott, David, Aaron, Becky, Michael, Doug, Leslie, Diana, Billy, Lynn, Erik, Daniel, Michael, Krystal, Kyle, Nina, and Nick. Great Grandfather of 12 Katie, Tyler, Nathan, Leah, Allysa, Jaden, Morgan, Logan, Michael, Chelsea, Mikayla, and Justin. Visitation is Monday 3:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. and funeral service Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 8459 Hall Road 3 bks east of VanDyke Utica with Reverend Bob Harvey officiating.
