Nettie O. Medley, age 97, of Shelby Township passed away September 8, 2012 at her residence. She was born October 18, 1914 in Silver Point, Tennessee to the late Grover and Mary Alice nee Johnson Carter. Mrs. Medley was a member of the Metro Church of Christ, a graduate of Baxter Seminary, Baxter, Tennessee, Loan Manager at Warren Bank and Secretary at Van Dyke Public Schools. Beloved wife of the late Fred Maddux Medley 1970. Dear mother of Chelsie Donald Bemis and Gerald Suzan Medley. Loving grandmother of Kathryn Wayne Curto Bemis, Jennifer Michael Leathers, Lavonne Jake Spratley, Tara William Bean, Erin Rob Basak, John Michelle Bemis, Paul Kristin Bemis, Charles Tracey Medley and Gary Medley. Great grandmother of Megan John Lembas, Emily Bemis, Elizabeth Bemis, Claire Bemis, Kate Bemis, Ella Bemis, Rachel Brett Ekstrom, Anne Curto, Chelsie Leathers, Kathryn Leathers, Shelby Yock, Izabella Bean, Hannah Medley , Chad Medley, Jack Medley , Ethan Basak, Dallas Siegel, Adam Bemis, Michael Bemis and Arron Curto. Great great- grandmother of Bradley Lembas. Sister of Nell Hall Logins, Frankie Matthews and the late Neoida Anderson. Visitation Monday and Tuesday 2-8 p.m. at Wm.
