Nancy Stewart

Nancy Lee Stewart, age 68, a resident of Royal Oak since 1992, formerly of Ferndale, died August 27, 2012 at her home. She was born October 25, 1943 in Warren Township, MI to the late Rollin and Beatrice Miller. Mrs. Stewart retired from Delta Dental Insurance after many years as a computer programmer. She loved painting, genealogy and being a grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Timothy A. Stewart; the couple married September 21, 1985 in Madison Heights; children, James Tina Ritter, Richard Ritter, Deanna Campbell, and Nathan Sara Ritter; sisters, Esther Peters and Faye Jim Newell; and grandchildren, Joseph Spagnuolo, Andrew Ritter, Jacob Ritter, Anna Ritter, and Nathan Ritter. She was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Karl Peters. The visitation will be Friday 4 p.m. until the time of the service 7 p.m. at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak. Memorials to the Michigan Paralyzed Veterans of America are appreciated.
