Nancy Atkins

Nancy Elizabeth Atkins, 75, of Kaleva, died Tuesday, April 1, 2008, at Country Acres AFC Home in Kaleva. She was born Aug. 20, 1932, in Harriston, Ontario, Canada, the daughter of William and Agnes Ferguson Pritchard. Mrs. Atkins enjoyed painting, ceramics, the outdoors and fishing. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Mrs. Atkins is survived by her husband, Kenneth Atkins, whom she married April 9, 1953; children, Larry Donna Atkins of Royal Oak and David Heidi Atkins of Berkley; grandchildren, Jeffrey, Timothy, Stephen and Victoria; brother, Robert Lee Pritchard and family; nephew, Jeff Gleadall; and niece, Nancy Elizabeth Gleadall. She was predeceased by her parents and her sister, Barbara Gleadall. Visitation is Thursday 7-9 pm and funeral service Friday 11 am at Terwilliger Funeral Home, Kaleva. The family will also receive friends April 8, 6-8 pm at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, Royal Oak. Interment will be at Roseland Park Cemetery, Berkley. Memorial contributions may be made to Munson Hospice.
