Ms. Georgette Nelson

Georgette M. Nelson, 55, died Thursday, March 13th at her home on Pass Creek Road, Custer County, South Dakota.

Georgette was born October 10, 1958 the daughter of George and Gladys (Tarr) Nelson in Newcastle, Wyoming. She was a graduate of Newcastle High School and had earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing degree. She married John Bau in 1976. She worked as a professional photographer and drove trucks with John. Georgette also became an EMT, attended nursing school and worked at Campbell Couny Memorial Hospital. She later managed Lincare. She enjoyed painting automobiles, loved building and riding motorcycles and playing her guitars. Georgette also enjoyed playing with her grandchildren and was an avid second amendment supporter. Georgette is survived by her daughters Angie (Marc) Holmes of Wasilla, AK and Jennifer (Wayne) Farley of Osage, WY; and their father John Bau of Osage. Also surviving are her grandchildren Piper and Hunter Holmes and John and Tony Farley. Other survivors include two sisters, JoAnn Cunningham and Janice Stevenson; four nieces, two nephews, numerous great nieces and nephews, and one great great nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Joyce Aldridge. A memorial has been established,in lieu of flowers persons wishing to contribute may send them to Worden Funeral Directors, PO Box 627, Newcastle, WY 82701.

Visitation will be held Monday, March 24th from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Worden Chapel in Newcastle followed by services at 2:00 PM Monday at the chapel. Burial will be at Boyd Cemetery near Four Corners.
