Rosemary Lee (Zink) Mitich
December 1, 1930-May 21, 2013
Rosemary passed away Tuesday May 21st 2013 at the Citizens Memorial Health Care Facility in Boliver, MO.
Rosemary Zink was born December 1, 1930 in Coldwell, ID to Archie and Mickey (Coleman). She grew up all over Wyoming with five sisters... Helen, Betty, Eleanor, Shirley and Sandy and two brothers... Chuck and Edd. Her most fond memories were the years living near Hullette, WY and Devil's Tower.
Rosemary married Donald Mitich in November of 1948 in Newcastle, WY and raised four children on their ranch near Four Corners, WY. Cathy, Joe, Susan and Vicky.
In her younger years while raising her children, Rosemary worked very hard cooking for the ranch hands during the farming season and the hunters in the fall and winter months. She was a little lady, but very mighty. Rosemary could shoot, rope, ride a horse and drive a tractor with the best of them
She loved being outside. She spent the long cold winter months planning just how she would plant her yard. Spring and summer were her favorite times of the year, and as soon as the ground thawed she was tending to her beautiful yard. Each season the flowerbeds were more spectacular than the last. When she wasn't creating her flower gardens she indulged in her second passion, of hunting for arrowheads. Rosemary walked every inch of the northern prairies and has a very impressive arrowhead collection to show for it. In later years she started collecting Barbie dolls. Any and all who had the privilege to view it first hand admired her collection.
Rosemary loved her family and watched each and every one of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren with such pride and love in her heart. She was an amazing mother and grandmother who brought such joy to the people who knew her.
Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents, loving husband Donald, adored daughter Vicky, sisters Helen and Betty and brother Chuck. She is survived by son Joe (Marty) Mitich of Newcastle, WY, daughters Susan Price and Cathy Jones of Halfway, MO. Sons-in-law Roy Serafin and Frank Jones, grandchildren Sandy (Timm) Smith, Amy (Josh) Daniels, Casey (Melinda) Jones, Jolene Jones, Marijane (Chris) Dillon and Michael Mitich. Great grandchildren Shawn Bonnar, Veronica Ratigan, Darien Laird, Dillon Spence, Colt and Leslie Ann Jones, Aiden, Aric and Jaxson Dillon, and a great great granddaughter Kassidy Bonnar.
