Nondyce (Nonnie) Lee Hunter Seiloff, 90, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2012 at the AGAPE Manor in Buffalo, Wyoming.
Nondyce Lee Seiloff was born in Upton, WY on May 19, 1921 to Frank LeRoy Hunter and Tressa Fern Townsend.
Nonnie was raised in the Upton, Osage and Newcastle, WY area.
During high school Nonnie was proud to be part of the Newcastle Dogie Basketball team. During the 1937-1938 basketball season she won her award letter. She was a star player in the Girls Basketball Tournament in Lingle, WY in 1937-38.
After graduation in 1938, from Newcastle, Mrs. Seiloff went to California. Nonnie met her first husband Clarence Milton Burkett and they were united in marriage on June 8, 1941. They had two daughters, Patty Ann and Nancy Lee Burkett. Mr. Burkett was killed during World War II in 1944.
On October 8, 1946 she was married to Raymond Lee Seiloff in Rawlins, WY. They were married 62 years when Mr. Seiloff died in 2009. They had two sons, Michael Ray Seiloff and Charles Lee Seiloff.
Nonnie is survived by her daughters, Pat (Rich) Trembley of Buffalo, WY and Nancy (Chuck) Wilson of Buffalo and her son Charles (Pat) Seiloff of Dandridge, TN and brother Ken Hunter of Gillette, Wyoming. Also surviving are numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Seiloff was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, her husband Raymond and son Michael.
Cremation has taken place under direction of Worden Funeral Directors of Newcastle. As per her request there will be no services.
Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Newcastle, WY.
