Mrs. Nellie Koch

May 31, 1944 — January 5, 2011

Nellie Rae Koch, age 66 of Newcastle, WY died Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at home following a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born May 31, 1944 in Gillette, WY to Donald R. (John) and Ethel May (Ross) Gillette. As a young girl she lived with the family in the Gillette area and graduated from Campbell County High School.

On June 6, 1962 she married William F. (Bill) Koch in Gillette, WY. The couple worked on the ranch of Foster Field out of Newcastle for many years.

She enjoyed being with her family and supporting the activities that her nephews and grandsons were involved in.

She took great and caring pleasure in her family as a wonderful cook and confidant.

Survivors include a son Billy of Newcastle; and daughter Tina Geer of Gillette; two brothers Don Gillette of Sheridan, WY and John E. Gillette of LaPorte, Colorado; sister Bonnie Rich and husband Dick of Newcastle, WY 2 grandsons, nephews, nieces, Great Nephews, Aunt Jackie & Uncle Dick Gissel of Arizona.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bill, Parents, Grandparents and Aunts and Uncles.

Services will be Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Weston County Senior Center. A private burial will be at a later date.

A memorial has been established to Weston County Home Health, Home Loving Care and Weston County Senior Center. Contributions may be sent to Bonnie Rich, P. O. Box 175, Newcastle, WY 82701.

Worden Funeral Directors of Newcastle are in charge of the arrangements.
