Mrs. N. Kraft

Funeral services for Elizabeth Kraft, 85, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 10th at the Upton Community Center. Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Community Center. Burial will follow services at the Kraft Family Cemetery South of Upton under direction of Worden Funeral Directors of Newcastle. The family would appreciate memorial contributions to the Upton Volunteer Ambulance Service. Contributions may be mailed to First Tier Bank, P. O. Box 560, Upton, Wyoming.

Elizabeth was born June 11, 1925 at her grandparent's home, now owned by Doug Materi, the daughter of David and Delores (Wolfe) Norris. She attended school in Upton, graduating from Upton High School with the class of 1943. She then attended the University of Wyoming summer schools for 2 and 1/3 summers.

She taught the Hays School in 1943 and 3rd and 4th grade in Osage in 1944 and 1945.

In March, 1946, she married Audra "Whitey" Kraft in Rapid City, South Dakota,
The couple resided at her father's ranch, and then moved to Whitey's parent's ranch where she taught the home school for three years. In 1949 they bought the Charley Sheldon ranch.

In December 3, 1984 Whitey passed away. Elizabeth continued to live on the ranch until moving to Upton.

She is survived by her son Everett Kraft; grandchildren Tanya Odekoven, David and Casey Kraft.

Preceding her in death were her parents, husband and sister Helena Moore.
