Mildred (Millie) E. Royer, 92, of Newcastle died Thursday, February 3rd at Weston County Manor.
She was born July 23, 1918 in Cayuga, Wisconsin the daughter of John Lawver and Victorine (Hubbard) Lawver. As a young girl she lived with her family of four brothers and three sisters. She was educated in Cayuga public Schools.
In 1936, she married Gerald Case and they resided and raised their family of ten children in Mellen, Wisconsin.
Preceding her in death was her first husband Gerald Case, her second husband Ray Royer, a daughter Geraldine (6 months), a son John (37 years) and a daughter Ida (71 Years).
She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Newcastle, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the American Legion and the Eagles Club of Mellen, Wisconsin.
She enjoyed gardening; canning and very much enjoyed her bingo. She took great and caring pleasure in her family, church, friends and her flowers.
Survivors include six daughters, Mary Petty of Folsom, LA, Alice (Bob) Cunningham of Newcastle, WY, Delores (Mike) Wheeler of Hendersonville, TN; Carol Case of Iowa City, IA, Linda (Joe) Smart of Butternut, WI, Hazel (Kelly) McClure of Mellen, WI and one son Jerry (Roxie) Lawver of Homer, AL. She was also blessed with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great, great, grandchildren.
A celebration of her life will be at 10:00 am, Monday, February 28th at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Paul Holland officiating. Worden Funeral Directors are in charge of the arrangements.
The family suggests memorials to the First United Methodist Church of Newcastle, Wyoming.
