Funeral services for Maxine J. Eutsler, 73, will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, October 25th at Worden Chapel in Newcastle, Wyoming. PRIVATE FAMILY ONLY burial will follow in the Upton Greenwood Cemetery. A memorial has been established to the Osage Volunteer Ambulance Service.
Mrs. Eutsler died Saturday, October 22nd at the Pioneer Manor Nursing Home in Gillette, Wyoming.
Maxine was born March 8, 1938 at Estes Park, Colorado the daughter of Edwin and Jewell (Clark) Cole. She attended public schools in Lusk, Wyoming. On April 25, 1953, she married Richard Joe Eutsler. Mrs. Eutsler worked in area restaurants as a cook in earlier years and owned and operated a cake decorating service in Newcastle. She enjoyed playing cards at family gatherings, and bowled for many years. She loved to cook and bake and was well known for her pies, cakes and cinnamon rolls. She was a member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by her children Sally Singleton, Joe Eutsler and Judy Lashmett; two brothers, Edwin Cole, Jr. and Robert Patrick Cole; nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death was her parents, husband, daughter Sherry Thomas, five brothers and four sisters.
