Mrs. Lillian Gould

Funeral services for Lillian Gould, 88, will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, August 12th at The First Baptist Church, 850 Gordon St., Custer, SD with Pastor Bill Savery officiating. Worden Funeral Directors of Newcastle are in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the church. Burial will follow services at the Custer Cemetery. Mrs. Gould died Sunday, August 7th at Weston Manor Nursing Home in Newcastle, WY.

Lillian was born January 12, 1923 in Custer, South Dakota the daughter of Harry and Alma (Harris) Olson. She was educated in Custer, SD area schools. On August 10, 1940 she married Orvel Gould at Custer. The couple moved to Newcastle where Lillian was employed at Weston County Memorial Hospital until her retirement.

She was a member the First Baptist Church in Newcastle, Wyoming..

Survivors include her daughter Verla (Bernie) Curl of Rapid City, SD; son Rex (Barbara) Gould of Newcastle. Grandchildren Kevin (Sandy) Curl of Arvada, CO, Roxanne Kursave of Rapid City, SD, Debbie (Larry) Carden of Black Hawk, SD, Ragen (Shanna) Janssen of Black Hawk, SD, Kim (Rick) Johnson of Gillette, WY, Warren (Elaine) Gould of Crestview, FL, Shane (Calee) Gould of Meridian, ID. She is also survived by sixteen Great Grandchildren.

Preceding her in death was her husband, son Norman (Butch) Gould, and daughter Lorraine (Penny) Janssen.
