Mrs. Janice Schulz

Janice Marie Beck Schulz 74, of Upton Wyoming died Tues January 27th in Newcastle, Wyoming
She was born December 24th 1940 in Lake Preston, South Dakota to Bernice E. Fanebust Beck and Wendell B. Beck.
Janice was a woman of strong faith. She sought out the best in everyone she met. She was kind, generous, loyal and loving one of her finest and most obvious qualities was that she never judged people. She loved to read, she appreciated the arts and music. In her childhood she was an entertainer with her mother and siblings. As a young woman she continued singing and moved to Hawaii for a time before she returned closer to home and married David G. Schulz on May 28th 1960.
They traveled, raised a family, farmed, owned and operated a café, a used junk store, and many more ventures. She was a writer, she loved plants and her cats. She was involved in her later years in many community events where they lived. She kept busy but always took time to reflect on each day. She took great pleasure loved keeping in touch with family and friends on her computer.
Survivors include her husband, David G. Schulz, of Upton WY, her daughter Carrie Lynn Schulz Fischer, and son in law Roger J. Fischer of Custer SD, her sister Carroll Ann Beck Whitman of San Diego CA, her sister Jeanette Beck Yasment of Chula Vista CA, a brother Curtis Beck of CA, a brother Richard Beck of Gilbert AZ, a sister Wendy C. Beck Wilcox of Dallas TX, and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, in laws and adopted family members.
She is preceded in death by her infant son Derrick William Schulz, her mother Bernice E. Fanebust Beck, and her father Wendell B. Beck
A memorial service is planned for 2:00 PM MondayFebruary 9th at the UptonUnited Methodist Church, 834 Pine St. in Upton Wy. Rev.Sharee Johnson will officiate.
The Family suggests memorials to the Upton Fire Dept or the Senior Citizens center of Upton WY
