Janice Egan Bateman, 41, of Newcastle, Wyoming, went to be with our Heavenly Father, Sunday, Oct. 13.
She was born April 4, 1972, in Vancouver, Washington to Jeffrey Charles Egan and Wendy Lee Foil. She also lived and went to school in Salt Lake City, UT; Manassas, VA; Fallon, NV.
On Sept. 11, 1993 she married Vance Curtis Bateman in Fallon, NV and lived there until moving to Newcastle June 2001. They had four children together. She was a homemaker and her family was her life. She enjoyed quilting, knitting, crocheting, gardening, camping, and traveling with her family. Janice was an excellent mother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend, and was loved by all who knew her.
Survivors include her husband Vance; children, Bethany, Tanner, Glory, and Amelia, Newcastle; mother, Wendy Burke, Phoenix, AZ; father Jeffrey Egan, Aumsville, OR; brothers, Daniel Egan, Phoenix, AZ, JoeRell Medina, Creswell, OR; sister Elizabeth Lee-Egan, Oakland, CA.
Services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, Oct, 17 at Worden Funeral Directors, with Dan Helvey officiating. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Newcastle.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Egan, JoeRell Medina, Kenny Bateman, Edward Kamensky, Dustyn Kamensky, and Kevin Kringlie.
Following interment all friends are invited to the Bateman home for fellowship, coffee and light refreshments.
