Jacqueline Savage, 76, of Upton, passed away on Friday, November 25th, in Rapid City, South Dakota. She was born on September 14, 1940 in Marysville, Washington to Earl and Hazel Henning. She graduated from Marysville High School. Jacqueline was united in married to Larry Savage in 1958. Larry was a minister and Jacqueline stepped flawlessly into the role of a minister's wife. She was constantly involved in church activities and constantly exhibited love for everyone. Jacqueline never met a stranger. Jacqueline and Larry had just moved to Upton, where Larry is serving as the Pastor of the Upton Lighthouse Assembly of God Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, a younger sister, Anita, and one son, Vaun. Survivors include Jacqueline's husband of 57 1/2 years, Larry Savage; daughter, Vanida Burrell; sons, Verlyn Savage and Vaden Savage; two sisters, Marlene and Beverly; two brothers, Kenneth and Kevin; 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and a multitude of friends. Services will be held on Friday, December 2nd, at the Upton Community Center at 2:00 p.m. A reception will follow.
