Mrs. Helen Wolfe

April 7, 1931 — September 30, 2013

Born Helen Gladys Eatherton, the daughter of Harold Tousely Eatherton ad Viva Leona Jelley in Sturgis, South Dakota, she was a graduate of Newcastle (WY) High School. Gladys married Ray Ernest Wolfe on June 1, 1949 at First United Methodist Church in Newcastle. Gladys died Monday, September 30th at Weston Manor Nursing Home in Newcastle.
Mrs. Wolfe worked for several people in Newcastle caring for their homes and later worked at Black Hills Power & Light Company. The couple moved to Worland, Wyoming and returned to Newcastle where their three children were born. They also owned and operated a mechanic and wrecker service white in Newcastle. Moving to Anaconda, MT for a short time, then to Butte, MT she was employed at a doctor's office as a general office manager until she retired and moved to The Bitter Root Valley, Corvallis, MT. She returned to Newcastle for her remaining time, back where it all began.
Surviving are her three children, Gary Wolfe of Green River, WY, Anita Skeeter Wolfe of Newcastle, Wyoming and Kim Fox of Hamilton, MT; four sisters, Caroline, Betty, Alyce and Jeanie; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
A service to celebrate her life will be held Friday, October 11th at First United Methodist Church in Newcastle with Rev. Paul Holland officiating. A time of refreshment will follow services in the church Fellowship Hall.
Private interment of the urn will take lace at a later date.
