Mrs. Evelyn Cimburek

Evelyn Cimburek died peacefully on October 7, 2010 to begin an eternity of happiness with our Lord Jesus Christ. She was surrounded by her family whom she dearly loved.
Mom will be missed deeply by her family and friends. We will especially miss her cooking skills. Every bake sale in Upton was graced with her amazing apricot filled cookies or rhubarb pies.
Evelyn Nellie (Bush) Cimburek was born on June 29, 1918 to Willis and Ida Bush. She attended elementary school at a country school and graduated from Britton High School. She married Henry Cimburek on September 1, 1952 in Britton, SD. They celebrated their 58th anniversary this fall.
Evelyn his survived by her husband Henry and children Mark (Lori)Cimburek of Casper, Mary Anne (Keith) Wheeler of Rapid City, Helen Jean (John) Grutkowski of Sheridan. Grandma was also blessed with seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren; one brother Martie Bush of Britton, SD and one sister Helen Clouse of St. George, UT
Evelyn was preceded in death by her children Michael, Marcy, Patrick and triplets Susan, Debra and Louise, her parents Ida and Willis, brothers Leslie, Clifford and Harold; Sisters Gladys and Edna.
Life will not be the same without mom. We loved you and admired your courage. At the end of the day, character is all you have.
Funeral Mass for Evelyn will be held at 10:00 am Monday, October 11th at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Upton with Rev. Peter James as celebrant. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery at Upton under direction of Worden Funeral Directors of Newcastle. Recitation of The Rosary will be at 7:00 pm Sunday, October 10th at St. Anthony's Catholic Church.
The family prefers memorial contributions be given to the Upton Volunteer Fire Department and Ambulance Service or St. Anthony's Catholic church.
