Raymond Alfred Moore, 84 of Lance Creek, Wyoming, died Saturday, April 13th at the Weston County Manor in Newcastle, WY.
He was born March 5, 1929, in Lusk, Wyoming to John and Virginia Moore. He made a living doing what he needed, to provide for his family. He was a cowboy at heart and a talented carpenter.
On November 6, 1949 he married his one and only love, Esther Garhart. The couple lived a life of caring for family and those less fortunate, including 27 foster children. He served in the National Guard. He took great pleasure in hunting, gardening, riding horses, and caring for the animals kept on the farm. But above all he loved the Heavenly Father and his family.
Survivors include his wife, Esther; two daughters, Linda (and Mike) Zeimet, Newcastle, Wyoming, and Susan (and Dwight) Hull, Waynoka, Oklahoma; two sons, Allan (and Lorraine) Moore, Ranchester, Wyoming , and Ricky (and Paula) Moore, Lance Creek, Wyoming. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; Matthew Hubbard, Kristi Krogman, Lori Kolczak, Brian Moore, Jana Sams, Jimmy Cosmano, Sage Cook, Hannah Kimbro, Kelsey Hull, many great grandchildren, and large loving network of family and friends.
Services were held at 2:00pm on April 15, 2013 at the Kitty Moats School in Osage, and he was laid to rest in the Garhart Cemetery there. Pallbearers were Allan Moore, Ricky Moore, Matthew Hubbard, Brian Moore, Cory Moore, Mike Zeimet, Scott Garhart, and Sage Cook; Kevin Garhart, Dale Wood, Joe Wood, Jr. Dwight Garhart, Tony Garhart and Chris Garhart.
