PAUL BEACH BARKER
JUNE 13, 1951 - AUGUST 16, 2010
An amazing wonderful man has passed away leaving many friends and family to celebrate the memories of his life. Paul was deeply loved and respected by all who were blessed to know him.
Paul was born in Mobridge, S.D., and raised mostly in Sturgis, S.D., where he met his wife Carol of 40 years. They had two children Cher and Chad.
Paul loved to spend time with his family, fishing, hiking and camping. He also had a great talent in carpentry.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Edna Barker; one brother, Wayne Barker; and one sister Linda Sampey.
He is survived by his wife Carol; two children, Cher and Chad; six grandchildren, Brendan, Cade, Lexi, Zacharie, Kelsey and Darion. Paul is also survived by five bothers and sisters, Barb and Larry Woodard of California, Jerry and Annie Barker of Wheatland, WY, Allan Barker of Sheridan, WY, Joyce and Randy Pfarr of Deadwood, S.D., and Roger and Tami Barker of Sturgis, S.D. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
Services were held at Assembly of God Church in Newcastle on August 20th at 2:00 p.m.
