Funeral Mass for George W. Ondriezek, 38, will be celebrated at 1:00 pm Friday, March 26th at the LaVerne Boal Auditorium with Father Phil Wagner and Deacon Ken Pitlick as celebrants. Burial will follow at the Greenwood Cemetery between Upton and Sundance, Wyoming under direction of Worden Funeral Directors of Newcastle. Recitation of The Rosary will remain private. The family asks that memorial donations be given to benefit the Upton Ambulance Service.
George was born July 19, 1971 in Newcastle, Wyoming the son of Joe and Beverly (Menard) Ondriezek. He was raised 11 miles North of Upton on the family ranch where his great grandparents homesteaded. He was the 5th of seven children. He attended school in Upton, Wyoming graduating with the Class of 1990. Following his graduation he attended Wyoming Technical Institute in Laramie, Wyoming where he earned at certificate in Automotive Collision Technology. Mr. Ondriezek returned to Upton where he was employed by Carson Rose for a short time until being employed by Excel building cooling towers in New York and New Mexico. He then returned to Upton and went to work for American Colloid Co. operating heavy equipment. He then went to work for Thunder Basin Coal Mine outside of Wright Wyoming operating heavy equipment. In August, 1998 he married Kristy Paschall of Upton. He later married Amber Jean Satterfield in May, 2006 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
George enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, auto body repairs and his children and family. One of his favorite pastimes was teasing his sisters Camille, Kathy and Kelly. He loved to bring scary movies to reality for them.
He is survived by his children Courtnie Lynn Ondriezek, Cierra Jo Ondriezek and Nathan Terrance Ondriezek; stepsons Alex Satterfield; his parents Joseph Frank Ondriezek and Beverly Ann (Menard) Ondriezek; Sisters Susan (Jonathan) Peterson, Penny Ann (Michael) Ankeney, Camille Dawn (Steve) Sundberg, Kathy Jo (Shawn) Fligge and Kelly Jo (Chad) Strandlien. Also surviving are his Nephews and Nieces Shane Michael Ankeney, Jessica Ann Ankeney, Kyle Evan Leingang, Kayla Terryn Leingang, Christina Ann-Marie Ondriezek, Joshua Allen Fligge, Matthew Joseph Fligge, Taylor Ann-Marie Strandlien and Aaron Joseph Strandlien; great nephews Dominic Michael Ankeny
Damian Lane Ankeney and Caeder Michael Brown and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Preceding him in death were his maternal grandparents, paternal grandparents and one brother Terrance Joseph Ondriezek.
