Donald Louis Carr, age 73, honorably passed away in his St. George, UT home surrounded by his beloved wife Linda and 6 children.
Donald was born on July 5, 1939 and was an original cowboy. He loved ranching and baseball and retured from Western Sugar in Torrington, WY.
He was married to his amazing wife Linda for 51 years.
To his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, Donald was the rock star of the family and was faithful to his religion.
He was both brilliant and charasmatic and coined the family ter, "Oh Geeze" for his sons and daughters to emulate with pure reverence.
Donald served in the Army and was a veteran, but his greatest accomplishment was his ability to connect with others and share an abundance of laughter.
He is survived by his wife, 6 children, 18 grandchildren and 5 grat grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Geneva and Louis Carr and by his son Thomas Carr.
Recitation of The Rosary will be at 7:00 PM Wednesday, November 14th at Worden Chapel in Newcastle. Funeral Mass will be at 1:30 PM Thursday, November 15th at Corpus Christi Catholic Church with Rev. Michael Carr as celebrant. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Newcastle.
A memorial has been established to Southern Utah Hospice.
