Angels reclaimed one of their own on Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2006. Michelle Beth Lebsack, 26, is now at peace, watching over her loved ones from heaven.
Michelle came into our lives on April 1, 1980, the daughter of Barbara Jo Yates Lebsack and Gary Allan Lebsack. Throughout her life she was an independent individual who knew what she wanted and stayed focused on her goals. Michelle cared deeply for children, the elderly, and those who found themselves at a difficult time in their lives. Family, friends and coworkers will miss her friendly smile, ready sense of humor and enthusiasm for everything life had to offer.
She loved traveling and adventure, being outdoors, learning, sewing, trying new things, helping people, tending to her many plants and spending time with loved ones. She spent a year in Sweden as a student and traveled extensively in Scandinavia and Europe.
Michelle will be missed by her parents, Barb and Gary, of Newcastle; one sister, Nicole Lebsack, of Newcastle; grandparents, Beverly and Burl Yates, of Huntley; aunts and uncles, Sue and John Wright, of Cheyenne, Jim Yates, of Huntley, and John and Ruth Lebsack, of Greeley, CO; and numerous cousins.
She joins one sister, Kelly Rae Lebsack, and paternal grandparents, Emil and Inez Lebsack, in heaven.
Michelle was an honor graduate of Newcastle High School in 1998 and an honor graduate of the University of Wyoming in 2002. She held Bachelor?s Degrees in Psychology and Sociology and was scheduled to complete her Master?s Degree in Sociology in the spring of 2007.
Michelle was employed in Kemmerer by the Wyoming Department of Family Services as a Casework Specialist.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, Oct. 28, 2006, at 11 a.m. at Worden?s Funeral Home. Services will be conducted by Pastor Ron Sample.
Friends who wish can donate to a memorial that will benefit several of the causes closest to her heart.
