Michael Steven Thiel
December 27, 1966 - March 7, 2013. Michael left us way too early in his life. He was 46 years old and left his dad, Gilbert E. Thiel, whom he has lived with since his divorce from Maria Thiel a few years ago. Michael also leaves an aunt, Agnes Buhalski; aunt and uncle, Joan and Ted Thiel who live in Lebanon, VA; and his two cousins, Alan Thiel and Brian Thiel and their families. Michael was very interested in music and played his guitar every chance he got. He loved to go up north to visit friends and bring his guitar to play music in the woods. At home he and his dad were avid golfers. In the past, he had been a member of a bowling team and enjoyed that sport too. We will all miss him. The visitation will be Sunday 2-6 p.m. and service Monday 11 a.m. at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak.
