December 7, 2008; age 87; peacefully passed in the presence of loving wife, Joan Schoenherr of 60 years. Devoted father and grandfather, Mike was an avid outdoorsman, successful businessman and deeply committed to his Catholic religion and community. Survived by children Joy Marie Tim Reade, Mike Jr. Kate Furlong, Marybeth, Gregg Rene', Maureen Rick Brandi, Don Carolyn, Joni David Coxton, Chris Karen, niece Denise Charles Terry, nephew Daryl Julie Schoenherr, 19 loving grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends. Preceded in death by granddaughter Moriah Coxton, brothers Leo and Donald. Served in WW II as 2nd Lieutenant, US Army, Graduated from Michigan State University GO SPARTANS and was self employed in sales to the auto industry. Visitation at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home 8459 Hall Rd. 3 Blks. E. of Van Dyke Utica Tuesday 3 -8pm with Rosary 7pm. Instate Wednesday 10:30am at St. Kieran Church 53600 Mound rd. Btwn 24-25 Mile Shelby Twp until time of Mass 11am. Family request donations sent to Capuchian Retreat, PO Box 396, Washington, Mi, 48094.
