Michael Prisza

Michael Gordon Prisza, age 64, of Utica passed away April 6, 2012 at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital. Michael was born December 29, 1947 in Ecorse, Michigan. He retired in 2007 from AKZO Nobel in Pontiac, Michigan where he worked as mill operator for almost 35 years. He continued to work after retirement as a part-time crossing guard for Utica Community Schools and for Great Lakes Recovery & Repossession with his son Michael Prisza. He liked fishing and playing bingo. Beloved husband of Elaine M. Prisza. Dear father of Tammy McAllister, Tina Prisza, Michael Kelly Prisza and Daryl McAllister. Dear brother of Jim Prisza, Al Prisza, Gert Kormos, Sharon Hughes, Paulette Prisza, Suzette Wilson, Claudette McGarther and Louise Gudanowski. Loving grandfather of 6 grandchildren. Funeral Service 11:00 am Wednesday at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 8459 Hall Rd. 3 blks. E. of Van Dyke Utica. Visitation 2:00 - 8:00 pm Monday and Tuesday. Interment Christian Memorial Cemetery.
