Michael Millar

Michael James Millar, age 67, a long time resident of Royal Oak, formerly of Sterling Heights, died August 19, 2009 at his home. He was born February 6, 1942 in Detroit. Mr. Millar was in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1960-1964. He worked for Michigan Bell now SBC as a supervisor. He was an avid golfer and collector. He is survived by his sons, Joshua M. Diana M. Millar of Baton Rouge, LA and Matthew A. Tracy M. Millar of Warren; sisters, Mondaine Sellick of Rochester Hills and Barbara Ron Malkowicz of Troy; and grandchildren, Clara Millar and Felix Millar. Visitation will be held Saturday 2-8 p.m. and service Monday 10 a.m. at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak, with the Rev. Paul Chateau officiating. Burial will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly.
