Michael Ray Hiatt, 25, of Upton, passed away Wednesday, December 9th, at his home.
Michael was born April, 11th, 1984 in Newcastle, Wyoming to Mike and Cindy Hiatt. As an infant Michael was diagnosed with Lee's Syndrome and his parents were told by doctors that he wouldn't live past his toddler years. God had other plans for Michael. Michael's life was full of miracles and the greatest miracle was Michael himself. Many people were lead to a belief in God because of the amazing things He did through Michael's life.
Michael enjoyed spending time with his family, being outdoors, and watching movies and cartoons. He was very fond of Scooby Doo and the music of Shania Twain. Michael attended elementary and high school in Upton, Wyoming. He was an honorary graduate of Upton High School and a big Bobcat supporter. He loved attending the athletic events his brother and cousins would participate in.
During and after High School Michael attended school at Northeast Wyoming BOCES School in Gillette, Wyoming. Later in his life he transferred to Renew in Newcastle, Wyoming. Teachers and fellow students all loved Michael a great deal.
Michael was preceded in death by his uncle Dennis Billings, and his uncle Eddie Billings. He is survived by his parents Mike and Cindy Hiatt, his sister Cristie Schabot, and his brother Matthew Hiatt, and sister Jamaica Dawn Burke. He is also survived by his Grandparents Ray and Bertha Billings of Upton, Wyoming and Darrell Stanton and Billie Jo Hiatt of Beulah, Colorado
Services will be held Sunday, December 13th at the Boal Auditorium in Upton, Wyoming. Rev. Troy Heidt will be officiating.
Honorary Pallbearers are Ryan Remington, Jeremy Remington, A.J. Remington, Emmanuel Chaffee, Josh East, and Curtis Burjarski.
