Merry Ann Nader, age 58, passed away May 22, 2014 at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township. She was born November 7, 1955 in Port Huron. Merry was a magnificent cook. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, embroidery and quilting. She was well renowned in the quilting industry. Merry was a very well spoken person who loved the Lord and had a passion for prayer. She was a 1st Lieutenant Chaplain for the 1st Responders Chaplain Association. She also was a Prayer Intercessor for the First United Methodist Church, with her knowledge of scripture to use the word of the Lord to pray with people. She was the beloved wife of Pastor Vincent Nader, married October 18, 1980. Loving mother of Carol Les Nelson, Anthony Denise Nader and Vincent Nader, Jr. Proud grandmother of Jonah, Hannah, Gabriel and Josie Nelson; Mackenzie, Addison and Lincoln Nader; Benjamin, Vincent Nader III and Victory. Dear sister of Bruce Theresa Cassavoy, Debbie Paul Mastej, Katherine Bill Cochrane DeClerk, Bill Sue Cassavoy, Carol Dennis Burks and Suzie Fasbender. Caring daughter of Margie Starkey.
