Melvin Clyde

Memorial services for Melvin Clyde, 32, will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, February 18th at the Upton Community Center with Roy Julius officiating. A memorial has been established for his son Michael. Burial will be at a later date next to his father Mike Clyde in the Alva Cemetery, Alva, Wyoming. Worden Funeral Directors of Newcastle are in charge of the arrangements.
Melvin died Thursday, February 12th in an automobile accident West of Newcastle.
He was born July 21, 1976 in Newcastle, Wyoming the son of Mike and Dena Hunt Clyde. Melvin attended public school in Upton and Gardnerville, NV. Melvin enjoyed playing football, baseball and basketball while in school. His hobbies were riding motorcycles and fishing with his family Christian, Michael and Justin. Melvin enjoyed hunting for rocks and Indian artifacts.
Melvin was a caring person who loved to surround himself with friends and family.
He is survived by his fiancé Christina Anfinson; one son Michael Clyde; two brothers, Shawn and Justin; his mother Dena Hayashino and step father Paul Hayashino; a step brother Ryan Hayashino; his grandparents and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Melvin was preceded in death by his father Mike Clyde.
