Melinda Zimmerman

Melinda Zimmerman, age 51, a 13-year resident of Ferndale, formerly of Royal Oak, died Sunday, December 14, 2008, at her home after a long illness. She was born May 24, 1957, in Detroit. She is survived by her son, Joshua Zimmerman of Ferndale; and mother, Virginia Lawrence Mitchum. She was preceded in death by her brother, Mark Parker. Visitation will be Tuesday 4-8 p.m. and service Wednesday 11 a.m. at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak, with the Rev. Wayne Cress officiating.
