Maurice Reygaert

REYGAERT, Maurice A., age 85, a resident of Sterling Heights since 1962, passed away October 16, 2013 at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital. He was born in Eeghem, Belgium & was married 59 years to Adrienne. Served in the United States Army from 1950-1952 & honorably discharged. He started his career as a brick mason & learned his trade from his father, Napoleon. He worked his way into becoming a custom home builder of 400 homes throughout Macomb & Oakland County. He belonged to the Belgian-American Business Association for many years & a member of the St. Joseph Century Club based in Clinton Township, Michigan. He was an active member of his community. He was most proud of his marriage to Adrienne & spending time with his family. Beloved husband of the late Adrienne D. Reygaert. Dear father of Michael KarenReygaert, Steven Reygaert, Jerome PeggyReygaert, and Michelle Robert Shores. Loving grandfather of 8 grandchildren: Scott Danielle, Ashley, Robert, Caroline, Danielle, Ryan, Brian, and Emily. Friends may call at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 8459 Hall Rd. 3 blks. E. of Van Dyke Utica on Sunday, from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Parish lead prayer service at 7:00 pm. Mr. Reygaert will lie in state on Monday, at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 1400 Inglewood, Rochester from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 am time of Mass. Entombment at Guardian Angel Cemetery, Rochester.
