Beloved daughter of Bill and Peggy. Loyal sister of Mike Beth, Patricia Jim Avery and Jean Dave Pingel. Devoted aunt of Alicia Kevin Wood, Kenny, Caitlin and Matthew Pingel. Great aunt of Michael and Emma Wood. Also survived by many loving cousins. Cherished friend of Duncan McGuffie. Maureen was a manager at the Sign of the Beefcarver for many years. She loved to bake and share her creations with family, friends and favorite customers. She was an avid gardener and enthusiastic fan of the Detroit Red Wings, but nothing gave her more joy than being "Aunt Maureen." Memorial visitation Thursday 5-8 pm at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W. 11 Mile Rd. 4 blks. E. of Woodward, Royal Oak. Family will receive friends on Friday from 11:30 am until the time of Memorial Mass 12 noon at St. Mary Catholic Church, Royal Oak.
