Matthew Forton

Forton, Matthew L. Age 26. September 26, 2007. Beloved husband of Candi Forton. Loving father of Matthew Christian Forton age 6. Son of Lawrence Forton of Ferndale and Rhonda Forton of Fremont, IN and son-in-law of Dean and Paula Edwards of Yale. Grandson of Florence and Louie Morabito of Ferndale and Lois Carter of Fremont, IN. Brother-in-Law of Damian Edwards, Daniel Edwards, Doug Edwards and Renee Edwards. Nephew of Steven Morabito. Mr. Forton enjoyed snowmobiling, four-wheeling and classic car shows. He started working at the age of 14 as a dishwasher and worked his way up to a cook at the Double EE in Ferndale. He currently worked for Continental Interiors as a project manager in Troy. He was a devoted father and family man and will be dearly missed.
