Born Nov. 10, 1926 in Detroit to the late Michael and Catherine Butler. Loving wife of Richard J. whom she married June 30, 1956 in Dearborn. Dear mother of Catherine John Kay and David Denise. Proud grandmother of Alexander Kay, Bryan Zanichelli, Scott Zanichelli and Joseph Kay. Dear sister of Roger Butler. Predeceased by brothers John, Tom, Jim and Joe Butler. Dear sister-in-law of Ruth and June Butler. Mary was a homemaker and resident of Madison Heights for 55 years. She was a volunteer of Project Help with St. Dennis Catholic Church and also volunteered with Meals On Wheels. Mary belonged to the Women's Senior League at Astro Lanes, she loved crafts, stained glass mosaic, playing the organ, and loved her family most of all. Visitation Monday 5 ? 8 p.m. and Tuesday 1 ? 8 p.m. with a 7 p.m. scripture service at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W 11 Mile Rd. 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak. In state Wednesday 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass 10 a.m. at St. Dennis Catholic Church in Royal Oak. Memorial donations to Alzheimer's Association appreciated.
