Mary Thrasher

Mary L. Thrasher, age 89, of Novi, formerly of Royal Oak, died Thursday, December 11, 2008, at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. She was born April 9, 1919, in Harrow, Ontario, Canada. Mrs. Thrasher enjoyed spending many hours with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Pamela J. Craig Klaver of Novi and Susan J. Greg Warford of West Bloomfield; daughter-in-law, Linda Thrasher; brother, Dean Thrasher; eight grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cameron Thrasher, on December 14, 1994. The couple married on November 2, 1942, in Amherstburg, Ontario; and son, Paul C. Thrasher. Visitation will be Saturday 5-8 p.m. and Sunday 2-8 p.m. at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W 11 Mile Rd. 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak. Service Monday 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. William Lawrence officiating. Burial will take place at Oakview Cemetery, Royal Oak.
