TESSMER, Mary nee Laethem, age 89, a 10-year resident of Richmond, died Sunday, November 27, 2005, at her home. She was born November 10, 1916, in Detroit, Michigan. Mrs. Tessmer was a homemaker and a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Richmond. She loved to play cards and make afghans. She is survived by her children, Joan Elam, Enda Wilfred Culver, Bill Betty Tessmer, and Sharon Kulbanek; 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Harold J. Tessmer in 2002; one great-grandchild; brothers, Richard Laethem, Emil Laethem, Charles Laethem and sisters, Ida Vermersch, Anna Williams, and Julia Laethem. She will lie instate at 9:30 am until time of funeral mass at 10:00 am Wednesday, at St. Therese of Lisieux Church, 48115 Schoenherr Road, Shelby Township, with Father James Commyn officiating. Entombment will take place in Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Township, Michigan. Visitation is Tuesday, November 29th from 2:00pm-9:00pm with an evening Rosary Recital, at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 8459 Hall Road 4 blks east of VanDyke Utica.
