Mary Mikula

April 18, 1930 — December 8, 2010

Mikula, Mary Ann passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her children after a courageous battle with cancer. She joins her darling husband, Chester who was called home 23 years ago. She was born April 18, 1930 in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. She is survived by her loving children, Geri Mike Rex, Phil Lynette, Jacqueline Lyle Cataline, Patrick, Pete Wendy, Margaret Ali Mustafa, and Amy. She is adored by 16 grandchildren, Joseph, James, Thomas, Matthew, Nathan, Allison, Zachariah, Samantha, Rebecca, Courtney, Suzette, Christopher, Olivia, Mariam, Shedi, and Amina. She is predeceased by her parents, Eleanor and Thomas Sakach, and her brother Thomas. She is survived by her brother Raymond Sakach , sister Eleanor Nault, and many nephews and nieces. She enjoyed bowling, golfing, and attending Tiger games with her family. She was active in RCIA at St. Lawrence parish. Anyone who met her loved her. Visitation Friday 1-9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. scripture service at Wm. Sullivan Funeral Home, 8459 Hall Road 3 blks east of VanDyke Utica. Funeral Mass Saturday in state at 9:30 am until time of the Mass 10 a.m. at St. Lawrence Church, 44633 Utica Road, Utica MI. Donations to Special Olympics and St. Lawrence Church.
