Sue Fromm Marshall was born in 1922 in Cleveland, Ohio to Charles Cecil and Hazel Goodrich Tuck. She died at home on June 28, 2008. She lived in Pleasant Ridge for more than 57 years. Beloved mother of Eric Fromm his wife Ann, Elizabeth Fromm and Janet Monroe, grandmother to Adele, Julianne, Prema, Susan, Ben, Liz and Danny and great grandmother to Tyler and Gabrielle. Sue leaves her lifelong friend and sister-in-law, Lois Breitmeyer and many devoted nieces, nephews and friends. Her remarkable intellect, wit and insight into the world around her, makes her death a profound loss to all who loved her. She graduated from the University of Michigan in 1944, where she met her husband, Harold Fromm, whom she married in 1946. Years after HalÆs untimely death, Sue married the late Robert Marshall, longtime minister of Birmingham Unitarian Church. For many years, starting in the 1970s, Sue managed the Bloomfield Hills branch of Recording for the Blind. For the past twelve years, SueÆs lifelong passion for knowledge continued at the University of Michigan Dearborn where she attended classes as part of the Senior Scholars program. A memorial service will be held on August 3, 2008, at 3:00 pm at the Birmingham Unitarian Church, 38651 Woodward, Bloomfield Hills, MI.
