Mary Brown

Mary Margaret Brown, age 87, a resident of Rochester Hills, formerly of Shelby Township and Detroit, died August 22, 2009 at the Sanctuary at Bellbrook in Rochester Hills. She was born March 19, 1922 in Detroit. Mrs. Brown is survived by her children, Jean Bliss, Diane Bob Bamback DeRyckere, Gary Betty Brown, Thomas Brown and Russell Mary Brown; siblings, Evelyn Jerry McInnis and Jack Joan Baker; 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Brown, in 1994; and son-in-law, James Bliss. Visitation will be held Monday 2-8:00 p.m. at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W Eleven Mile Road 4 blks. E of Woodward, Royal Oak. Mrs. Brown will lie in state 9:30 a.m. until time of mass 10:00 a.m. at National Shrine of the Little Flower in Royal Oak. The burial will take place at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township.
