Gardiner, Mary "Charlene". Age 78. June 15, 2013.
Beloved wife of Donald. Loving mother of Jeffrey, Kevin Elizabeth, Gregory Annette and Susan Farah. Proud grandmother of Nicholas Melissa, C. Casey, Andrea, Ryan, Rachel Devin, Samantha William, Mehdi, Sofia and Zackariah and predeceased by her granddaughter, Corinne. Dear sister of the late Melvin Hibbler Jr. Music was Charlene's passion. She was classically trained at the Detroit Conservatory of Music as a pianist, and was also an organist. She was a member of the gospel trio "The Carillons" and founder of the "Kings Men" chorus. She also was the director of the children's choir and a member of the hand bell choir at the First Presbyterian Church of Royal Oak. She was a member of the Red Run Golf Club in Royal Oak and "The Club" Pelican Bay in Naples, FL. Mrs. Gardiner will lie in state Saturday 10 a.m. until the time of the service 11 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Royal Oak. Arrangements by Wm.
