Mary Duda

Duda, Mary Ellen. Age 89. June 1, 2012.
She was a dedicated and loving mother of Laurie Alex LaFountain. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roman. Mrs. Duda formerly worked at Ford Motor Company and Trigon Tool Corporation Oak Park as an administrative secretary and bookkeeper. She had a passion for travelling and meeting people worldwide. While she was a very proud American, she enjoyed multi-cultural traditions, lauguages and people, and hosted foreign exchange students in her home. Mrs. Duda had a thirst for knowledge and never stopped learning. She enjoyed the arts and music and was a very giving person. Mrs. Duda was a self-made woman, and had a flair for seeing new ways to promote businesses in a positive manner. An avid animal and nature lover, she enjoyed seeing many species of birds and watching wildlife. No public services will be held at this time. Arrangements by Wm.
